For Survivor!

I have plans to film an audition video, however I'm going to wait until I get my knee fixed up.  I don't want to be weaker than I need to be.

I hope I get on a good season.  With NO returning players.  Okay, well, maybe I'll deal with some of them.  Or I can use them.  I don't know.

So, I have yet to catch up on the new seasons, I want to but I don't have cable.  I think Wednesday I'm going to catch up on Philippines.  Penner is on!  *happy dance*

So, I've been sick and busy in collage, however I'm still alive.  I finished watching all of Vanuatu.  It is an amazing season.  I loved the characters, and Chris, Ami, Eliza, Scout, and Twila are on the list of my favorite Survivors (I have to respect Scout on the principle that she's from OK as well).  I watched an episode (Julie's boot episode) and it was the first survivor episode I saw.  I remembered the challenge  but I think that was all that I watch.  Something told me I would have remembered Eliza's reaction at Tribal Council.

I was only 10.  I have a great long term memory for sure.

I mean, who could forget this?

I'm also going to rewatch Guatemala.  It was the first survivor season I watched front to back so I have a lot of love for it.  So I will defend my favorite to the end.  So the seasons I want to watch are South Pacific (I love Sophie.), Pearl Islands (It's a sin that I didn't watch it yet), One World (Have not watched it yet), and Fans Vs. Favorites (I did watch it, but I missed around half the episodes).

I'm also on Survivor Sucks, as HeatherShort17.  Come talk to me there, or on Twitter.

I'm sorry for the rocky updates, I have been sick.  I'm feeling a bit better, but I'm running a slight fever and I missed out on a few classes.  Love you guys and have fun!

In this post everyone dies

Just Kidding :D

This is my next QI review, starting them up again.  I'm going to start with the Immortal Bard.  Why do you ask?  Well, ask any other 18 year old from anywhere in America you would get the opposite you would get from me.  I'm a sucker for Shakespeare.  One of my favorite books when I was in Middle school was one call Shakespeare's Secret even though I don't remember the author at this moment in time.

So I love Shakespeare and this is why I decided against starting with the J series, or finishing the I series.  So let's begin shall we?
From the BBC website.
We have Alan, Bill, Stephan, Sue, and Mitchell are sporting their amazing outfits for this show.

Our panelists today (Besides Alan of course) are Bill Bailey, David Mitchell, and Sue Perkins.  All three are among my favorite panelists on the show.  I wanted Sue's hat the most, or Alan's hat.  All the amazing hats.

Well.  Let's have some fun shall we?

Let's start off with the fact that Shakespeare's handwriting (or at least his signature) looks like mine.  Well, at least I spell my name the same every time I do such.  Only a few examples of his handwriting has been found, and they aren't really impressive.  Oh well right?

The tangent about 3D printing, I think we have one here at OU somewhere here?  I heard rumors about it.  We can make a 3D copy of a shrew easily.

Chances are, today you have used at least one word that Shakespeare used for the first time in his plays.  Come on, we know you have.  He used around 20,000 words in all of his plays, half the vocabulary of a modern Briton.  The other half of the vocabulary are words no one in their right minds would us anyways.

The Lion King is based off of Hamlet.  Amazing isn't it?  What they didn't tell you is that the second movie was based off of Romeo and Juliet.  I wonder why they didn't say it.

Also Morris Dancing.  It gets made fun of, and as an American I say, you can take them back you've made your point.  There is 150 sides of Morris Dancing here in the states, just in case you are wondering.  Though some of the suggestions that what a group of Morris Dancers are called were pretty hilarious.  "An arse", "an embarrassment"" a plague" might be my favorites.

So let's talk about my favorite parts of the show.  The Klaxon.  Who got the Forfeits? And what were they?

1. Bill said that the Movie based off of Romeo and Juliet was originally called West Side Story.  Although it ended up called that, Sue gave the correct answer of East Side Story.

2. In the XL version only-  Dangerous Dan Tucker did not clean up Shakespeare by taking out the rude bits like Sue said, though the town in New Mexico named Shakespeare probably wished he did, when he hanged everyone including someone just because she was a "damned nuisance".  The Bowdler's where the ones who took out the rude bits.

3. No Bill, Richard III was not Hunchbacked.

4.  And finally, Christopher Marlowe did get stabbed, just not in a tavern brawl.  It may have been a brothel, just not in a tavern.  Sue got the forfeit this time.

And that is it, now all that's let is to have a peak at the scores.

David- Wins with 6.  Horrah!
Alan- Second with 3.
Sue- Third with a -10.  Quite a few points lower than Alan
Bill- Last with a frowny face with -14.

So, this is all for right now.  Next planned is Jargon.  However I reserve the right to do whatever the hell I want.  So from me and the staff of the Comedy Stars Blog... err me.  I say goodnight, follow this blog or if not already, follow me on Twitter handle Heather_Short17.  Comment, follow, or insult me, or all three if you want!

Thank you and see you latter gators!

Back from the Dead.

What happened to the website?

Sorry for the lack of updates since June.  I haven't forgot, just been rather busy between school and work and lack of work and family stuff.  You know, normal 18 year old problems.

I missed the one year mark of the blog.  Whoops.  My bad.  No problem.

So, I'll be set to make all sorts of fun little things for the blog, after all, I don't want to disappoint you.  I'm going to star with reviews for QI, starting with the Immortal Bard, because Sue Perkins is a rather funny gal, and it is a rather great place to start off of.

I might get around to updating a little in my free time.  No problem once I get free time.

Well that's really all for now. :D

Pokemon Conquest + Triumphant Return

So I have most of my work done from school!  I'm also 18 now as of June 7th.  Yus!

I have gotten Pokemon Conquest- and that game is awesome.  I just wish Quilava is in it though.  That one's my favorite.  Anywhos, at first, I wasn't sure how to play the game, it wasn't a main series game so while information was just beginning to surface, I wasn't paying attention.  I was to busy speculating Black and White 2.  Haha...

Well, I decided to get the game after I did some research on it.  None of the character's names were changed, though the locations and ability names were.  I think this game should have more pokemon in it, including all the starter families.  The starter being an Eevee reminds me of Pokemon XD (another game I'm playing right nowish), even though the gameplay and story is vastly different.  I have yet to finish this game, but I love games with a historical background behind it.  The inclusion of Pokemon makes it more badarse.

Is there a reason ABC family doesn't really show Whose Line anymore?

Well, that's really all for now.  Follow me on Twitter at  @Heather_Short17 for more, and I'll promise with more updates!

Thanks for the Break ^^

So sorry, I had to handle some major school stuff.  I now have a 113% in one of my classes.  Yay! Results!

I'm slowly going to like, reorganize the Comedy Stars.  I suck at organizing.
Now I'm drawing!

Okay, I need to work on somethings.  Right now, I'm stuck knee deep into trying to get to college and stuff.  Turns out if you really suck at school, colleges might not like you.  Lucky, I'm an awesome student.

I'm sure you guys miss me;D

Miss Heather Short Out for the night.

And so I heard you've been sick

I had a nasty cold near the beginning of the month, and I've been rushing to keep up with some work from school and stuff.  Also I got Zelda Ocarina of Time for my 3DS. So far a little stuck on the forest temple with all the random arse wall masters.  They pop out of fickin nowhere man!

*whines* I've been so sick recently.

So I've been looking for pictures to show you guys, but I couldn't fine you one so here is a random picture. Enjoy!

Thank You!
